Miami Heat could acquire Memphis Grizzlies’ Lance Stephenson as a replacement of Dwyane Wade. Heat is one the verge of losing its star player as the franchise is looking for his replacement. Grizzlies’ shooting guard, small forward could be a good option to fill the void.
Miami Heat needs a strong shooting guard. It does not have a lot of options as many of the
star players have already joined moved to other teams. Meanwhile, no other team has shown interest in signing Stephenson. So, it is highly likely that former shooting guard of the Indiana Pacers could be seen in the Miami Heat jersey.
Stephenson is not much famous among the NBA fans due to his on-court rivalries with LeBron
James. However, his game was quite impressive in the last season. He scored an average of 14.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. As far as his game is concerned Miami Heat could go for Stephenson, reported Inquisitr.
However, if the Miami Heat do not sign the deal with Stephenson, the franchise could go for
one of these players. Another possible option for Stephenson would be Dion Waiters. During the last season, he played for Oklahoma City Thunder. However, there are possibilities that Waiters could stay with Oklahoma City Thunder. In case the franchise drops him, he could go for join Miami Heat for next season.
J.R. Smith was in the Cavaliers during the last season. Although he played very well, Cavaliers has not yet released a word about his place in the team for next season. If Cavaliers don?t sign Smith, it would be a good chance for Miami to sign him. The shooting guard and small forward meets the requirements of Miami Heat.
If they fail to sign any of these players, Randy Foye will be good option. He is experienced player and provide depth to the Miami Heat. Although, he cannot cover the loss of Dwyane Wade, he could fill a bench role for the Heat.
