The 2K Sports Team has again updated its video game NBA 2K17. It fixes minor problems and adds in-game features that will make the game more interesting. So, without further ado, here are the inclusions of the latest patch.
- Support for the NBA 2K17 European All-Star Tournament as well as the forthcoming NBA 2K17 All-Star Tournament.
- Performance increase for users playing in the Old Town, Sunset Beach, and Ante-Up parks.
- Reduced the effectiveness of shooting after excessive dribbling to achieve better game balance.
With regards to the last patch note, game director Mike Yang further explained it via Twitter. He mentioned that ?By over-dribbling, I mean with Left Stick running around (zig zagging, left/right-ing back and forth, etc.? However, he clarified that Shot Creator type of players would not feel the impact of the update.
Those players who have a good shoot off dribble rating will also not be affected by the patch. Another thing that gamers should expect is the update on contested shot. According to reports, it will be less effective so a player should do a better defense to make his opponent miss a shot.
Furthermore, there are also reports stating the changes found on some Badges. NBA2kLab stated that the NBA 2K17 update 1.07 tweaks the Pick Pocket, Deadeye and Hustle Rebounder Badges. But, the post did not clarify what changes were made.
The post also mentioned that the patch will make a character?s weight affect the success of a dunk attempt. Gamers are still testing the update so let us expect more information about it in the coming days.
