NBA 2K17 is surely one of the best sports simulation games today. With the games becoming as realistic as possible, many hoops fans have been living their dreams from the comfort of their own couch. While most video games tend to promote sitting down for prolonged periods of time, the upcoming NBA 2K17 PS4, Xbox One update is very different. This is because it will reward NBA 2K17 players who will be able to achieve Fitbit fitness goals.
NBA 2K17 has constantly been pushing the envelope when it comes to sports simulation games. This is one reason why it has become such a huge hit over the past several years. Now, 2K Sports has decided to add something very unique to the game as players will be rewarded in the game for things that they do in the real world.
According to Tech Crunch, 2K Sports has partnered with Fitbit to reward players for achieving goals using the popular wearable fitness accessory. This is completely unique as no similar feature has been introduced in any sports video game yet.
The same report gives an example of the bonuses which players can get in NBA 2K17. If a player is able to hit 10,000 steps in a single day, it will give him access to a temporary boost in a player?s on-court performance in NBA 2K17. This would include a boost in agility, layups and dunks.
With the new partnership in place, gamers who would like to improve the performance of their players in the game would have to sweat it out in the real world. This is surely a very great feature as it promotes exercise for gamers who would otherwise just sit down all day to play NBA 2K17.
The upcoming feature will be added to the NBA 2K17 PS4, Xbox One update and will start on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
