Publishers 2K Sports recently revealed that Cleveland Cavaliers? point guard Kyrie Irving will be joining as one of the faces of its NBA 2K17 and teased about the final member joining in the cover art of the basketball simulation game. This has sparked speculations as to who among the NBA stars will be making this year?s cover art photo and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green seems to be the most prominent choice.

2K confirmed on Thursday, June 9, the addition of Irving, and they tweeted, ?Following a huge Game 3 Finals performance, @KyrieIrving is the latest reveal for #Team2K! Who?s the last member??

Basketball fans responded to the question flooding the company?s twitter account with pictures of Green. With Green?s epic?performance so far in the regular and the postseason, he likely seems to be the most viable candidate to be featured in the NBA 2K17.

Green, who was suspended in Game 5 of the NBA Finals pitting the Warriors against the Cavs, still has a chance to perform even better in the upcoming Game 6. So his upcoming game Friday night can become a driving factor behind him being on the NBA 2K17 game cover.

Other options aside from Green include Oklahoma City Thunder?s Russel Westbrook or Orlando Magic?s Aaron Gordon and Minnesota Timberwolves? Zach LaVine who have also been rumored to join the lineup.

Another possibility is Cavs forward LeBron James making it to the cover as his epic scoring in Game 5 was very much appreciated by the game publishers.

?The King & Kyrie become the first teammates to have 40+ points each in the #NBAFinals. They force a Game 6 in CLE!? they wrote.

While of course we will have to wait for this long week ahead to see the next cover athlete of the next NBA sporting game, Green still looks the most probable candidate with his consistent performance.

If Green gets officially selected by Team 2K to appear in the NBA 2K17, he will be joining the likes of Irving, Chicago Bulls? Jimmy Butler, Detroit Pistons? Andre Drummond, Indiana Pacers? Paul George, Minnesota Timberwolves? Karl-Anthony Towns and Oklahoma City Thunder?s Kevin Durant.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that ?the 2016 Olympics will also be featured in the NBA 2K17 game. Its likely appearance was hinted by one of the jerseys worn by George as the cover star for the Standard Edition. Similar to its predecessor, George has three poses in three jersey variants -one of which is for Team USA.
