The highly popular basketball video game, NBA 2K16, has received a roster update from developer Visual Concepts. The latest brings new shoes, tweaks and other changes in the game.

With the latest NBA 2K16 update, player ratings in the game have been changed. Some players who have received a higher player rating in the game include Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose. These players have received +1 ranking boost, while players such as Kemba Walker and D’Angelo Russell are ahead in the game with a +2 rank boost. Meanwhile, athletes such as Greg Monroe, Stephen Curry, Harrison Barnes and Kristaps Porzingis have seen a decrease in their player rating.

In the NBA 2K16 update, shoes from the American multinational footwear company Nike including Hyperrev 2016, HyperLive, KD Trey Five II will be featured in the game. Players will also get shoes from the popular German footwear company Adidas, and the range includes Crazy Light Boost 2.5 and D’Lillard 2. One of the leading footwear brands, Jordan, is also coming to NBA 2K16 with Jordan XXX and Jordan Rising High.

Meanwhile, NBA 2K16 gameplay director Mike Wang revealed that a new shooting update has also been released for the game. The developer made this adjustment to deliver real-life NBA experience in the game. In an interview with IGN, Wang said that the changes are not only for Stephen Curry; the rules and updates are also there to keep the game fair and balanced. As fans know, the game failed to emulate the three-pointers made by Curry from long ranges. The new NBA 2K16 update ensures that the players will be able to make such moves accurately.

While NBA 2K16 is keeping fans busy with several updates, some are already anticipating the announcement of its sequel, NBA 2K17. 2K Sports asked fans about the player celebration they want to add in NBA 2K17. Community manager Chris Manning stated on Twitter that fans can send videos and images of celebrations they?d like to see in NBA 2K17.
