By on

As the 2015 NBA tip-off is set to begin, we take a look at some of the trade rumors that are circulating around the NBA. Since his return to the ranks of the NBA, Hassan Whiteside has proved to himself and to everyone else that he can play at an elite level when it comes to basketball. After ending the 2014-2015 NBA season with a bang, Whiteside might be setting his sights for the next season with a new team.

Hassan Whiteside to Dallas?

Rumors are circulating around the basketball world that Hassan Whiteside could be involved in a trade between his team, the Miami Heat, and Dallas Mavericks, according to Franchise Herald. The Heat will have to prepare for the worst and set its priorities straight if they?re to pursue a formidable lineup next season.

According to Yibada, Zaza Pachulia and Dwight Powell might be involved in the trade between Miami and Dallas in exchange for Hassan Whiteside and Josh McRoberts. There?s still no guarantee that Whiteside will stay for the Heat in his free agency but the organization maybe setting its sight on making him a franchise player, if he produces much better ratings this season.

Ira Winderman from Sun Sentinel reports Whiteside?s current situation and the Heat organization?s choices next season. ?About the only way Whiteside could be locked up before free agency would be if the Heat were to trade him to a team that has ample-salary-cap space. Bottom line: Whiteside will enter 2016 free agency as a player up for grabs to any team with the requisite salary-cap space.?

Hassan Whiteside was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the 2010 NBA Draft in the 2nd round as the 3rd pick and 33rd overall. He made his NBA debut in October 27, 2010 as a center but was unfortunately sent to the D-League after. We hope to see a much improved Hassan Whiteside in the coming NBA seasons.
