Developers from Naughty Dog are the kind of developers who know nothing, but make epic games. Uncharted series was one of the most iconic games that brought the PlayStation 3 to its high pedestal. The Last Of Us was another proof that they can also venture into other genres and be a gaming force to be reckoned with. Despite losing people in their team with such alarming rate, this doesn?t stop them one bit from doing what they?re known for.
After losing some people in the team, Naughty Dog was quick to counter-react this to avoid hampering Uncharted 4?s development. Co-presidents Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra made some statements that calmed down the fear and panic of the series? fans. Porting The Last Of Us on PlayStation 4 was ?hell? according to them, but it is done somehow. They could pretty much focus on Uncharted 4 now, but this is not all. They have another unannounced property which will be something as big, or possibly, even more epic than the Uncharted series.
?Well, I mentioned earlier the number of products we have going. We definitely have another project on the scale of Uncharted in very early pre-production stages. We have the sizable team that it takes to get something like that off of the ground, but it?s got a long runway in front of it. We have a lot of great ideas and some stuff that is already getting everybody jazzed and excited. So, it?s a long way off before we can really start talking about it in detail. But no, [Bruce and Neil working on Uncharted] is not going to impact our ability to keep that stirring that pot.?
However, there were no additional info to this mystery project from Naughty Dog. With what they did with Uncharted and The Last Of Us, it is easy to assume that Naughty Dog can manage to squeeze out more innovation.
It is unlikely, though, that this project will be stealing some of that spotlight from their upcoming Uncharted game to be presented at E3.
