Just three weeks before the release of Naruto?s new game Ultimate Ninja Storm, new jutsus to be featured in the game have been revealed in the form of scans submitted by Saiyan Island?s kotoam67. According to the post, Boruto, Kaguya, Naruto and Sasuka are the characters that will have new jutsus.
Awakenings and jutsus are special powers and abilities trained Ninja fighters can use in the Naruto universe.
The scans reveal the inclusion of the Jinchuriki combination ultimate jutsu. It requires only three eligible members of the group to trigger it, just like the Akatsuki combination ultimate jutsu.
The scans also reveal the new combination awakening between Sage of Six Paths Naruto and Rinne Sharingan Sasuke to Susanoo Kurama. The new awakening is a combo of the characters Naruto, Sasuke, and Kurama.
Meanwhile, new features in the series include a return to the jutsu and awakening mechanic for the fighters, the player?s ability to wall-run, the ability to swap characters similar to fighting games like Marvel vs. Capcom, and the ability to create elemental damage and break weapons and armor in battle. All the characters in the game will now share the same life bar as well.
Developer Cyber Connect2 President and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama stated that he wants to provide a lasting experience for fans with the new game. Fighting games are commonly criticized because they lack a coherent story. With Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Matsuyama wants to explore the storytelling aspect of the game more than before because it is going to be the last title in the Naruto Franchise.
Other areas improved in the game are the combat and the damage system. It also features the largest roster of fighters ever in the franchise?s history.
While many have been anticipating the release of Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, it was pushed back February, to the dismay of Naruto fans worldwide. The developer said that it needs more time to improve the game and make it more up to date. The game releases on Feb. 4 in Japan, Feb. 5 in Australia and Europe, and Feb. 9 in North America. The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and the PC.
