February 27, Namco Bandai will continue on with the Tales Series with two new games, both for separate consoles.
Tales of Vespria for the XBOX 360, and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the Wii. Of course, the XBOX 360 version will have fantastic visuals, “anime-style” graphics, which I will say cel-shading, and a upgraded battle system. OK, that’s nice. Let’s see… It appears that the game will have a captivating story line, just like the rest of the Tales Series. Not like that’s a bad thing, but hey, at least it’s better than what Square has for the Final Fantasy story lines since number 10. Yes, I went there, and I’m ready to defend that point. I’m sure the game will do just fine with attracting the fans and newcomers. Oh, oh! You can also craft new items from monsters too! Yay, grinding time!
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World seems to have the upper hand on features, but that shouldn’t discourage you from buying both. Having to get monsters to join your battle, then upgrading them sounds like fun. Plus you will come across previous characters from Tales of Symphonia. So it looks like both will be hot items this year.
