Moto X 2016 Launch Is Near: The Phone Gets China?s Compulsory Certificate!

The Moto X 2016 launch is likely to happen soon because the phone has received the China?s Compulsory Certificate, or the CCC.

A couple of days ago Moto X 2016 was officially certified by CCC. The CCC is a safety protocol. It is compulsory for any phone that is manufactured and imported into China. On the CCC listing, it stated that the Moto X 2016 has the model number XT1662.

It is also revealed that phone will be powered by MediaTek?s Helio P10 MT6755 chipset. Moto X 2016 will be equipped with the Turbocharging feature. This may be good news for those who are planning to buy this product. Clearing the software certification is teasing the early launch of Moto X 2016, according to BGR.

Earlier a Moto phone with the model number XT1662 was spotted on GFXBench. As per the listing, the upcoming Moto phone is going to feature a 4.6-inch full HD (1080p) display. It will have 3GB of RAM and Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It is also packing a 2GB of onboard storage. The listing did not mention about expandable memory. It will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera, autofocus, face detection, flash, HDR photo and touch focus.

Moto X 2016 will run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. It will include connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 4G LTE are expected. Other listed features are an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, light sensor, NFC and a pedometer.

The popular tipster Evan Blass had shared a picture of Moto X phones on Twitter. On the picture, Moto fans could see two slim phones. ?2 Moto X flagships with a modular backplate design,? Blass wrote.

 

 

An unknown tipster had posted two new images of the Moto X 2016. Those two images had shown Moto X phones with curved edges. The home button was seen below the screen and it was surrounded by a square metal ring.

During May 2016, there have been a few reports had claimed that Motorola will launch two new phones at Lenovo Tech event. However, Motorola did not launch any phones at that event. In fact, Motorola fans were anticipating Moto X 2016 at the Mobile World Congress, which took place in February. Motorola?s loyal customers are hoping to see the phone before the end of 2016.
