The gamers around the world got super-excited after rumors emerged that the forthcoming Mortal Kombat X DLC would be launched at the 2016 Evolution Championship series (EVO). However, the gaming championship concluded last week but not a slightest new piece of information was made available regarding the Kombat Pack 3.

However, when one of the curious fans pushed Ed Boon, director of the Mortal Kombat X for clarification, he bluntly he replied that he never had anything planned for EVO, but sure enough ?there is a big MKXL news coming.?

Though Boon, who is the creative director of NetherRealm Studios, the game developers behind Mortal Kombat X, didn?t exactly reveal his plans regarding the timing of the news, it seems possible that fans could hear more about the update at this weekend?s San Diego Comic-Con.

Boon announced that he is attending the Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment?s panel on the Injustice 2, the sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us at the 2016 Comic-Con. He shared that there would be two more character reveals for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One title.

So there is even hope for more information emerging about the Kombat Pack 3 at the Q&A session with game developers.

This has fans feeling pretty much optimistic and they will surely be elated to hear some exciting news for the next in line update on the 10th installment of the Mortal Kombat series.

Earlier, Boon had even dropped subtle hints about the content of the latest update. It is being speculated that Mortal Kombat X could likely receive a new balancing update for Tremor from the DLC roster and Sub Zero from the original cast.

The rumors have been sourced from Boon?s survey asking fans to choose who among the four DLC characters and four original brawlers they would want to get buffed. Fans of the series responded all too eagerly and recently revealed results saw both Tremor and Sub Zero leading their group. The figures further elaborated that Tremor got the highest votes from the DLC fighter with 31 percent while Sub Zero got 35 percent from the original roster of the 9,000 plus votes.
