Those who’ve been playing the remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are probably used to everything that the game has to offer. While the game does offer a selection of modes and features, players have probably tried it all out. Lucky for players, a new mode is set to go live for Modern Warfare Remastered.

It’s not an April Fool’s joke as players will have access to a really fun mode in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The mode is Prop Hunt and it would give players a really exciting time in the game. It will be available starting March 31 at 10 AM PDT and it will last up until 10 AM PDT on Monday, April 3. It’ll be a free update to grab so players should try it out once it arrives.

Prop Hunt isn’t a very serious mode in Modern Warfare Remastered, but it is one of the funnest. For those unfamiliar with the mode, it closely resembles hide-and-seek. It’s origin dates back as a Garry’s Mod creation and it has since gained popularity because of the things it brings to the table. In this mode, players will be grouped into either the Hiders or the Seekers.

Hiders

As a hider, players will become an in-game prop that is found on the current map. Basically, hiders should blend in with the surrounding as best as they can and they must survive for as long as possible. Props can move from one spot to the other, however; this puts them at risk of being spotted. In some versions of this game mode, hiders are tasked with attacking the seekers after an amount of time has passed, but we’ve yet to know if the one in Modern Warfare Remastered will follow the stipulation.

Seekers

On the other end of the game mode are the seekers. As seekers, the task is to look for any suspicious props that could be the hiders. Seekers will have to know the maps like the back of their hands as it’s the only way to find out which prop isn’t in its place. Once players find the hiders, they then need to shoot them down. In other versions of the mode, seekers will get damaged for shooting real props instead of the hiders. But again, there could be a different set of rules in Modern Warfare Remastered.
