Back at PlayStation Experience 2016, Sony revealed the next installment for their MLB The Show series. The next game was revealed with a new trailer that showcases a few of the game’s features. Since then, we’ve yet to hear from the developer regarding MLB The Show 17, but there’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing more of the game later this month.
SIE San Diego is pretty tight lipped regarding their game and there could be good reason for the silence. The developer could once again be readying a series of vlogs set to release soon. The vlogs itself might highlight most of the things that players should expect with MLB The Show 17.
Last year, SIE San Diego did a series of vlogs for MLB The Show 16. The news was revealed by Sony themselves on Jan. 26, 2016. We should expect the same treatment for the next entry, especially that the developer is keeping the game’s features a secret for now.
Each week, the developer revealed new details for the next entry in the series. It was good for keeping fans up to date on the next game. The developer could do the same this year and if that is the case, we can expect the vlogs before January ends.
We’ve yet to know the full rundown of details on MLB The Show 17. There are already quite a few things that caught the attention of baseball aficionados already. Retro Mode, for example, is a great callback to the early days of baseball video games.
In the mode, players will be able to see a classic take on the HUD. It would surely amp up the nostalgia factor on the game. Even better is that there will be more retro stadiums in the game so players can get their nostalgia on full blast.
