Minecraft Pocket Edition to Bring ?Bigger Worlds? Revealed by Mojang
According to the blog of Minecraft developer Mojang, the Minecraft ?Pocket Edition? will definitely be getting ?significantly bigger worlds?. The game, priced at US$ 6.99, had received so much requests from its users about having bigger caves and worlds ever since it was released in 2011.
Well, although gamers would have hoped that it could have come a little sooner, the developers have started laying the foundation for creating these much wished for bigger worlds according to the blog post of Mojang.
Daniel Kaplan of Mojang says that ? We?re working on restructuring a lot of code to allow significantly bigger worlds in future updates. We?re also updating the AI, inventory, and a bunch of other things. Unfortunately we don?t have a release date yet, but so far, everything is going to plan.?
Minecraft fans are eagerly awaiting this development and the Minecraft Pocket Edition Team is reportedly putting in a lot of work at the moment to make these ?bigger worlds? a reality very soon.
To spice up the news, Mojang even released a screen shot ?of a lovable wolf that will make its appearance in Minecraft PE in the near future. What do you think of the wolf?
Aside from this news, Mojang also announced that they will be halting the service of Pocket Realms, Mojang’s very own hosting platform, on the 1st of March 2014 as it will go under improvement work in time for the PC launch. Minecraft Pocket Edition featured an alpha version of Pocket Realms last year.
Mojang added that all worlds created in Pocket Realms will be saved and gamers can continue exactly where they stopped when the service becomes up and running once again later this 2014.
