There is no doubt about the fact that Miley Cyrus is one of the boldest celebrities in Hollywood. And she has often made headlines for her provocative outfits. Well, once again Miley has surrounded herself with controversy by doing a revealing photo shoot for Candy magazine.
However, the pop star has no qualms about baring it all. In the past too she has such photo shoots for this magazine. Talking about the same she said, “What was really fun about the shoot for?CANDY?was being able to involve the aesthetic of myself and Terry but also Happy Hippie. It?s allowing me to break the wall for what a woman should be,” reported Advocate.
According to News.Com AU, the explicit photos were clicked by controversial photographer Terry Richardson who also directed the singer?s Wrecking Ball video which found her astride a wrecking ball except for a pair of Doc Marten boots. The magazine is described as ?celebrating transvestism, transsexuality, cross-dressing and androgyny in all their glory?.
In the photos, the 22-year-old performer almost licks her armpit hair, holds a kitten while completely naked, wears a sex toy and makes provocative gestures with a baton in a police costume.
Now what is interesting is that, whenever Miley has teamed up with Terry, her photo shoots have somehow ended up being controversial.
According to Movie Pilot?Miley and Terry struck up their collaborative spirit in August 2013 after doing a spread for Harper’s Bazaar, which was decidedly fashion-y and featured much more fabric than Miley’s usual garb. Post that, Miley ventured to Terry’s private studio to take some pics that are much more in line with what we’ve come to expect from the singer. Only a month after their first studio instant, Miley and Terry reunited for the ‘Wrecking Ball’ music video, which Terry directed.
The video got everyone talking almost immediately, and before long it had inspired parodies, Halloween costumes, and endless potential for karaoke performances.
Bold, gutsy and carefree ? that?s Miley Cyrus for you.
