The New MotoGP 14 to be released on June 20

Game developer Milestone has announced that their long-running racing game franchise will be updated again. The new MotoGP 14 is slated to be released on June 20, but there?s a catch ? it will only be available in Europe for now.

The Italian game developer said via the game?s official Facebook page that the MotoGP 14 will be available on the Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360. They did not mention anything about an Xbox One-compatible game.

Improvements to this year?s MotoGP 14 release will involve most of its social and technical aspects, as well as a new audio engine and a redesigned game engine. The new design is expected to bring speedy, realtime lighting effects and will significantly enhance the graphics of the game while using consoles, especially the PS4.

The upcoming MotoGP 14 will now have more than 100 riders together with the so-called ?Champions of the Past.? Upon release, all motorcycle manufacturers along with 18 various race tracks will be offered. Additional tracks can be anticipated as future downloadable contents (DLC) is now in the works.

Fans of the game franchise may find their hands full as the MotoGP 14 will feature modes like Real Events and Time Attack where gamers can play in environments based on the 2013 MotoGP Season. Meanwhile, the World Championship mode includes the riders and teams from 2014?s MotoGP, Moto3, as well as Moto4 categories. Finally, players get to modify various racing options, allowing them to create their own events in the Grand Prix mode.

The MotoGP 14 is Milestone?s first attempt to incorporate the franchise to latest generations of game consoles like the PlayStation 4; Xbox One is apparently left out for the mean time. The updated game will be enjoyed by users in Europe come June 20. MotoGP fans in the UK will get a free card game pack called ?Legends of Moto? if they pre-order it from Milestone hints that a North American launch can be expected in a few weeks.
