Xbox One Gold Titles for January

On January 1, World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap will come to Xbox One Gold. The buyers do not have to pay for this game. But they can enjoy it only until the end of January. ?This tower defence and action-RPG hybrid comes with a versus mode, a cooperative campaign, and an extensive single-player campaign that tasks you with defending the world against the horrors of the void,? the game?s description reads, according to Express.

The gamers are highly excited to see a $19.67 worth game becoming available for free. Another exciting game, the Killer Instinct Season Ultra Edition, will hit the Xbox One Gold list. This game had the price tag of $39.34. Killer Instinct Season Ultra Edition will include new combatants, more stages, Killer Instinct 2 Classic, fluid gameplay and an open-ended combo system.

The Xbox fans can also enjoy The Cave for free from January 1 to 15. In the second half of January, Rayman Origins will reach the fans.

Xbox Backward Compatibility Titles for January

The Xbox backward compatibility is also likely to get more games. Xbox chief Phil Spencer has teased such possibility. ??January looks pretty good for [backwards compatibility]. Back compat was good as it brought a bunch of nostalgia back without all the games needing to be redone or rebought. I love that [backwards compatibility] is bringing great games to people who didn’t get to play on 360,? Spencer said.

Microsoft has already added a few wonderful free games to Xbox One’s backward compatibility. Lost Odyssey will be free until December 31. The Raskulls created by Halfbrick Studios is also entering the Xbox Backward Compatibility list.

Spencer has also said that Xbox One fans will get to play older versions of games without having to repackage them, according to Videogames Republic.

BioShock, BioShock 2, Aegis Wing, Age of Booty, Blood Knights, Fable I, Fable III, Crystal Defenders, Zuma, Zuma?s Revenge are the other expected titles. ?
