Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to hit the market soon. One of the Surface Pro 5 variants will have an advanced 4K Ultra HD screen with a 3840 x 2160 display resolution. Microsoft is considering adding a Gorilla glass to protect the display of Surface Pro 5, according to Times of India. The idea of having a big display will make Surface Pro 5 different from Surface Pro 4.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will have three variants.
Surface Pro 5 will pack a Surface Pen. The Surface Pen will feature rechargeable batteries.
?With rechargeable batteries, you?re assuming you are going to have time to charge it before you use it. For us, we believe creativity will strike at any moment and you?ll want to know your pen is going to work without having to plug it in to charge it first,? Microsoft?s brand manager Markus Weickenmeier said.
The Surface Pro 5 will run a pre-installed Windows 10 Redstone 2 operating system. It will also pack a fingerprint scanner as well as a USB Type-C port.
The price range of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 variants will be between $899 and $1800.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release
Microsoft is taking too much time to design hardware features of Surface Pro 5. “Instinctively, it makes more sense to wait a year since the last model, rather than rush a summer launch. Given that the Intel processors are just barely becoming available, it also makes sense that Microsoft would need some time to polish a product that includes the new chips. It’s certainly better for Microsoft to get the product right than to hit an arbitrary time frame,? Jan Dawson, chief analyst at Jackdaw Research, said, according to CIO Today.
