Intel Skylake Processor and Windows 10 Redstone 2
According to Tech Radar, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would be powered by Intel Skylake processor. The next generation Surface Pro 5 is expected to run on the latest Windows 10 Redstone 2 Operation System.
Microsoft is expected to have fixed one of the major issue associated with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It was rated to stay up to five to six hours. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to deliver at least seven hours of battery performance.
The Surface Pen
A stylus or Surface Pen could be expected to come with new improvements. Rumors suggest that it would have a power on/off button, a charging port and an LED light for notification.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 had a 12.3-inch display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels while the Surface Pro 5 may sport a larger screen of 13.3 inches to compete with the Apple iPad Pro. The Apple tablet is fitted into a 12.9-inch display. The Surface Pro 5 could arrive with 4K resolution, reports IBTimes.
USB Type-C support
Microsoft?s adversaries like MacBook and Chromebook Pixel is packed with USB Type-C port. Since Surface Pro 4 lacks it, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 should have the USB Type-C port.
Last year, the company announced the Surface Pro 4 launch six months ago. However, this time, Microsoft has not uttered a word about the Surface Pro 5. Rumors are still constantly circulating suggesting that it would be unveiled in October 2016. Speculations suggest that the new tablet would be priced at $899.
