There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the much hyped Surface Pro 5. From the latest Kaby Lake processors to the internal storage, it seems that the famous tablet is destined for greatness. Now, a recent report from a Chinese supply chain suggests that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will get an early release. It could be that fans of the tablet will get an early surprise, perhaps as early as the first quarter of 2017.
According to a report from Chinese language Economic Daily News, Microsoft is said to officially announce the Surface Pro 5. The announcement will take place during the first quarter of 2017.

Digitimes also picked up on the story and indicated that Pegatron will serve as Microsoft?s manufacturing partner. In addition to Pegatron, Quanta might also dip in and help with the manufacturing efforts.
The new Microsoft tablet?is rumored to come with an impressive array of new hardware features. The first in line is the much talked about Kaby Lake processor to power the tablet.
It was initially reported that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was in for an October 2016 release. However, due to delays in the Intel side of things, Microsoft decided to delay the release. By now, many would be expecting that the next Microsoft tablet will feature the Kaby Lake processor.
In addition to the new processor, there have also been talks that the tablet will support a 4K display. Although this might seem an overkill, many are actually looking forward to seeing the?tablet with this. Microsoft?s patented PixelSense technology is also to make an appearance with the tablet.
There may also be a chance that Microsoft will release an ARM-based Surface Pro 5. This is due to the fact that it has successfully ported the Windows 10 OS to work on a Snapdragon processor. However, this version of the Surface Pro 5 may come at a much later date. Nevertheless, consumers can still expect good things from the tablet.
The news about the Surface Pro 5 led many to believe that it may take place some time in March. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) will take place from February 27 until March 2 in Barcelona, Spain. It might be that Microsoft will use the said event to officially launch the Surface Pro 5. Unfortunately, the software giant has yet to release a formal announcement regarding the matter.
