Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has finally found a worthy competitor in Lenovo Miix 720. The two are currently head to head with each having their own cutting-edge features. So it’s better to get down to it and see who’s the better fit.


The starting price of the Miix 720 is $999, that is around a hundred bucks more expensive compared to the starting price of the Pro 4. The Miix 720 has amazing features to boot, but users are looking forward to the Surface Pro 5 coming out early this year. It promises much speedy processors and higher screen resolution that could be even better than the Lenovo Miix 720.


Lenovo uses an Intel Core processor under the newest Kaby Lake architecture. It also has a graphics processor that is able to support 4K video. The Surface Pro 4?s 12.3 inch screen is a bit wider compared to Miix 720 12-inch screen. However, the latter can display images at a much higher resolution. Surface Pro 4 can only display 2736×1842 pixel resolution, while Miix 720 can provide images at 2880×1920 pixel resolution.

Storage Capacity

Both the Surface Pro and Miix 720 have 1TB of storage capacity, as well as the keyboard attachment where users can switch their laptops into keyboards. However, Lenovo will have their stylus sold separately for those who want to doodle or take notes using their tab.

Miix 720 is relatively light, about a kilogram if the keyboard is attached. It has a 1 megapixel cam in front with infrared. Users can log on via face recognition. It’s rear end also has a 5 megapixel cam.
