Microsoft has been successful in releasing their flagship laptop Surface Book. As a result, consumers around the world are asking when the next one will come out. Although there is no confirmed launch date yet, here are some specs that the next in line laptop will feature.
According to reports, Microsoft is going to upgrade not only the appearance of the laptop but also its features. The upcoming flagship laptop is expected to boast a 13.5-inch Pixel Sense display. It is said capable of 4K resolution with a playback of 4K video and 3D graphics. Through these specs, consumers will have a smoother experience once they have their hands on the product.
Another thing that is predicted to be present on the laptop is Intel?s new Kaby Lake processor. It is built on a 14-nanometer technology that will double the graphic performance of the computer. Also, the processor will go alongside two ports for USB 3.0, SD Card reader in full size, headphone jack and Mini Display port.
To support the Kaby Lake processor, Microsoft Surface Book 2 will have a stronger battery that is said to last up to 16 hours. Furthermore, the laptop will also have an additional fan to back the GeForce GTX 965M video output.
Lastly, Microsoft?s upcoming flagship laptop is expected to have a built-in dock that will add power to it as well as recharge the laptop itself. Should that be the case, then it is pretty obvious that the upcoming computer is way stronger and interesting than its predecessor.
Meanwhile, with regards to the release date of this much-anticipated laptop, there are rumors that it will hit the market early in 2017. However, with these specs expected to be added to it, there are also speculations that it might take a while before Microsoft will release this computer. A 2018 launch is even possible, but let us just wait for an official confirmation from the company.
