After almost a month, Microsoft Lumia 650 would be available in the US. It is expected that in next few days, the company would make official announcements of the release of the mid-range smartphones.
After months of speculations, Microsoft launched the Lumia 650 on Feb. 15 and it was released in select European markets on Feb. 18. However, until now there were no reports about the availability of the device in the US, but reports suggested that Cricket Wireless may bring it to the country.
A twitter user Myke Floyd made a query to the Lumia US (via MSPowerUser) about the Lumia 650?s availability in the US for which the company responded by saying that it would make official announcements in few days time.
According to GSM Arena, the Lumia 650 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled 1GB RAM. The device sports a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with 1,280×720 pixels. Lumia 650 has an aluminium-based metal frame and measure 142.0×70.9×6.9 mm in dimension and weighs 122g.
The device to have 16GB internal memory and has expandable memory support (up to 200GB via microSD card). In terms of camera, the device is packed with 8MP camera with LED flash and 5MP wide-angle front camera.
Microsoft Lumia 650 supports 4G-LTE connections and includes NFC, micro-USB v2.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/), 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.1, A-GLONASS/A-GPS and FM radio. The device will be available in matte black and white colors and is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.
