Batman: Arkham Knight?s release date might have been leaked in the Microsoft Store. If this is the same hype-train invitation like what Steam did with the PC release of Dead Rising 3, then we?re in for a treat, as Batman: Arkham Knight is set to be released in February next year, which is pretty early.
If you checked the Microsoft Store product page of the game before, you would see that it has no date specified for release, but last Sunday, in a short span of time, the date was specified.
You can see that in this Microsoft Store?s product page, the game Batman: Arkham Knight is set to be released on the 24th of February next year. Again, just like the same incidence with Dead Rising 3 on Steam, this might seem like an honest mistake at first, but there?s a huge probability that this is the actual release date for the game. The date specified is Tuesday and this is a usual day for games to be released in North America.
Another cool thing is that, according to this ?leak?, the release date for PC is the same with the Xbox One release. This should alleviate any worries that PC gamers have for the game. Talk about Grand Theft Auto IV and V. The release date for PS4 is likely to be the same with Xbox One and PC in this case.
Batman: Arkham Knight was originally scheduled for a 2014 release, but Rocksteddy confirmed that they needed to push back the release to next year to make sure that they deliver the best possible Batman experience in this final game in the trilogy.
If this release date leak is accurate, Batman: Arkham Knight will be tagging along with Order 1886 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt this coming February 2015. February might not be the best time to release games to distance itself from Holiday season launches, but heck, if it is a game worth getting at any time ?of the year, why should the publishers be worried right?
