Michael?s friends and colleagues have only been the ones to give glimpses on what is happening to Michael since his skiing crash in 2013. Recently, former Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo described Schumacher to be in a terrible situation and said he reminisces his happy memories with the racer just to get by.

Montezemolo said he admires Michael?s family for being strong?enough to brave the racer?s struggle. ?I must also say that I admire the courage and strength of his family, of Corinna and the children, and how they help Michael,?Montezemolo said. ?From the bottom of my heart, I hope hear good news soon.?

Schumacher First Recommended Sebastian Vettel

Just last month, German Ferrari F1 racer Sebastian Vettel said Michael Schumacher is a good friend of his who frequently gave him pieces of advice to help him in his career. According to Montezemolo, Schumacher was the first one to recommend and encourage the Ferrari team to acquire Vettel.

?The first one who encouraged us about Sebastian was Michael,? Montezemolo said. ?He said he is alert, well-behaved, trustworthy, fast,? Montezemolo added.

Sebastian Vettel currently ranks third place in the Formula One standings with 266 points, behind Nico Rosberg with 297 points and Lewis Hamilton with 363. Vettel is a German racer who joined Ferrari this 2015. Vettel currently has four consecutive F1 championship wins.
