Mi Notebook: New Details, Images Leaked Ahead Of The Launch Event

New leaked images of Mi Notebook have confirmed the imminent release of the much anticipated laptop ahead of Xiaomi?s Wednesday event.

The latest photo that has emerged via GizmoChina shows a real life image of man using a laptop which is reportedly the yet-to-be released flagship device from the smartphone manufacturer company. Although any sort of Mi logo is not present in the leaked image, the all-metallic design computer that clearly fits the description of Mi Notebook.

While earlier leaked pointed towards a design similar to Apple?s Macbook Air, that doesn?t seem to be the case; the image shows a rather more bulkier device comparatively. Still with pretty thin bezels the the laptop is expected to quite break through the market with suppliers already hoping for around a million sales. The image also confirms the USB Type-C port for charging besides a full size USB 3.0 port in Mi laptop.

Previously leaked details revealed the Mi Notebook to come in two variants. The cheaper standard version features Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately $600). The Pro version on the other hand comes with an Intel Core i7, a NVIDIA GTX 970M 4GB DDR5 graphics card, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage all for a 6699 Yuan (approximately $1000) price tag.

There seems to be no information on the screen sizes of the laptops so far but it is expected that the company will launch the 12.5-inch and 15.6-inch variants. It is still unclear whether the laptops would include touchscreen support but Full HD screen resolution is essentially confirmed.

Besides the laptop, the highlight of the Xiaomi?s event is going to the launch of the Redmi Pro (allegedly Redmi Note 4) smartphone device. The series of teasers from the company have confirmed several of the details of the already including a deca-core processor, OLED display and dual-camera setup.

Of course, with all the rumors and leaks we can?t confirm any of the details for now but stayed tuned to get latest updates prior to the event.
