To keep everyone excited for the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Sony is launching a special themed Sony smartphone to make fans crave for more.
Yep, aside from the limited edition PlayStation 4 console, Sony will also include a limited edition smartphone. The Sony Xperia J1 Compact: The Phantom Pain Edition will still have the same Xperia J1 body that was released last year. Sporting a black and white color scheme with the Outer Heaven emblem engraved at the back with special custom themes like the Phantom Pain themed wallpaper, custom ringtones and two original soundtracks installed to the phone.
The Xperia J1 Compacts will have a 4.3 inch screen and runs in a Snapdragon 2.2GHz 800 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage and a whopping 20.7 megapixel camera. The J1 compact is priced at JPY 59,800 ($485)
But it?s not just the smartphone that Sony will be bringing, a special MGSV Tablet will also be available. The Xperia Z4 Tablet and Z3 Compact Tablet will have the same color scheme and design as well as the free digital item bundles and will have a special Outer Heaven tablet case. The Z4 is priced at JPY 84,400 ($680) and the Z3 is at JPY 59,600 ($480)
And if you think that?s everything on their line-up, there is also a special edition Walkmans. The Walkman ZX series NW-ZX2 will have a 128GB storage capacity and is priced at JPY 140,000 ($1130) while the 32GB sized A Series NW-A16 is priced at JPY 28,000 ($226). It will include a booklet, leather pouch, ten hi-res audio files, special message tone and 4 digital wallpapers.
