Some gamers felt confused and disappointed with the ending of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and we already know why. The true Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain ending was revealed to have been removed from the game after Youtube user Inzaa posted the behind the scenes footage of?the MGS5: TPP collector?s edition, Kotaku reported.

It has been revealed that a Mission 51 titled ?Kingdom of The Flies? was supposed to be included in the game, GamingBolt reported. The deleted mission introduces an epic boss fight including a scene that offers closure to both Big Boss and Eli. The true MGSV ending also ties the timeline to other installments in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

Where Is The True MGS5 Ending?

The issue was first brough-up by Gamespot after they reported that the collector?s edition of the game included a blu-ray disc that includes Mission 51. It included ?half-finished cut scenes and storyboards?, they reported. It is unknown if the scene was removed due to budget constraints or a lack of time to put it into the game.

Now that the game is widely available, the entire deleted scene has now been posted on YouTube. The final boss fight involves Venom Snake fighting against a manned version of the Sahelanthropus piloted by Eli. You can watch the true?ending in the video below:

Fans Protest

According to PixelDynamo, MGSV fans on Reddit are now planning to petition Konami to produce the true ending as they claimed that the game feels unfinished if it isn?t included. ?The only way this will happen is if there is a petition made and people start to sign,? Reddit user Xeniast said.
