Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Easter Eggs: What Does It Mean, Where and How To Find Them

By on

Hideo Kojima is well known for putting tons of Easter eggs in his games and his latest game is no exception. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Easter eggs have already been revealed online showing some references to P.T. (Playable Teaser for Silent Hills) which he developed with Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro. Kojima can also be recruited in the game if you import your Ground Zeroes save file.

Where And How To Find the Metal Gear Solid 5:?The Phantom Pain Easter Eggs:

P.T. Radio Chatter

The Silent Hills Playable Teaser is a terrifying game, not only because of the frightening creatures and the haunting house which slowly transforms as you progress in the game, but also because of the way it tries to instill a sense of believability that the nightmares that haunt you is grounded in reality.

The Radio Report from P.T., which tells the horrific events of how a father killed his wife and her two children makes, makes it into MGS5. This crime news report can be heard during the ?Locate and rescue Shabani? mission in the Angole-Zaire Border Region of Ngumba Industrial Zone (North Top), Video GamesBlogger reported.

Here is the complete script of the report courtesy of Silent Hill Memories:

We regret to report the murder of the wife and her two children by their husband and father. The father purchased the rifle used in the crime at his local gun store two days earlier. This brutal killing took place while the family was gathered at home on a Sunday afternoon.

The day of the crime, the father went to the trunk of his car, retrieved the rifle, and shot his wife as she was cleaning up the kitchen after lunch. When his ten-year-old son came to investigate the commotion, the father shot him, too. His six-year-old daughter had the good sense to hide in the bathroom, but reports suggest he lured her out by telling her it was just a game.

The girl was found shot once in the chest from point-blank range. The mother, who he shot in the stomach, was pregnant at the time. Police arriving on-scene after neighbors called 911 found the father in his car, listening to the radio. Several days before the murders, neighbors say they heard the father repeating a sequence of numbers in a loud voice. They said it was like he was chanting some strange spell.

There was another family shot to death in the same state last month, and in December last year, a man used a rifle and meat cleaver to murder his entire family. In each case, the perpretrators were fathers. State police say the string of domestic homicides appears unrelated, though it could be part of a larger trend, such as employment, childcare, and other social issues facing the average family.

Silent Hills? Lisa Haunts Soldiers

The terrifying monster that haunts the narrow corridors in P.T. makes an appearance in the Phantom Pain. Lisa appears here as a horrifying decoy which Big Boss can easily activate. The video below shows Big Boss throwing a disc and when it lands on the ground, it pops-up as an inflatable decoy. It can also be used to push enemies over a cliff-edge as shown at the end of the video.

According to VideoGamesBlogger, the Lisa ghost decoy can be acquired upon expanding your Mother Base with an R&D platform. It must also be advanced enough to make and upgrade the decoy, the report said.

Hideo Kojima

The creator himself can be seen in the game by importing your Ground Zeroes save file. For this to work, you must already have recruited Kojima in Ground Zeroes during a special side-quest in the game, Gamespot reported. Kojima can be a valuable ally in providing help for the R&D department in Mother Base, Gamepur reported. You can learn more about the perks of exporting your Ground Zeroes save file and how to do it?here.
