Developer Bioware is far from done with the support for Mass Effect Andromeda and a recent update brings some essential fixes to the game. Players can get the new update now across all consoles and they should expect a few things inside the update. Here’s everything we know about Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.07.

Mass Effect Andromeda Update 1.07 Details

Before the update, Mass Effect Andromeda producer Mike Gamble announced that the update will launch in the morning. “Tomorrow AM there will be a hotfix released to allow dlx edition folks to get athletic outfit+ nomadskins in the middle of a playthrough,” says Gamble.

The update is minor and it shouldn’t take too long to download. The update is a small 470 MB on the PlayStation 4 but we’ve yet to know how big it is on the Xbox One and PC. Seeing as nothing major has been added, we can expect the Xbox One and PC file sizes to be significantly small as well.

Changes And Additions

There are no patch notes for Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.07 just yet but Gamble has said a few things about the update. The update’s focus is the addition of the Athletic outfit and a few new fixes for some of the game’s bugs. Still, it’s an update worth getting as soon as possible since it fixes a few notable bugs in the game.

There are 3 notable fixes in the new Mass Effect Andromeda update. First is a fixed crash with the SOS quest that prevents players from completing the quest. This means less worries whenever the quest is being taken. Next is a fix for deluxe edition owners who’ve yet to get the Athletic and Nomad outfit DLCs. Another notable fix is the 1080p UI placement which has been bugging players for quite a while now.

Troubles Launching

A few players might have trouble launching the game on PC after downloading the update. To fix this, Gamble shares a few steps to launch the game. First is to go offline in origin with the game no longer running. With Origin offline, players should then launch the game and then go online.

There might be more to the update than what Gamble has detailed. We’ve yet to know when the patch notes for it will arrive.
