The new Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.05 includes an inventory cap upgrade which now allows players to manage more items. The previous base inventory could only carry 50 items but has since been increased to 100 as of the new update. Lastly, the maximum upgraded Inventory cap is now at 200.

Mass Effect Andromeda Update 1.05 Inventory Increase

The official BioWare blog has confirmed an “Increased Inventory limits” update but didn’t specify how high the increase was. The fans found the specifics themselves and found a large boost to their inventory slots. Overall, this update encourages players to as they’ll have space to carry the loot.

Overall, the base Inventory space has been increased from 50 slots to 100 slots. Additionally, the maximum upgraded inventory cap has also been increased to 200. Potentially, this buff may slightly shift the focus on opting for the Inventory space improvement cryopods as they already have twice the inventory space in the beginning. Players can opt to go pick other helpful cryopods perks like Reconnaissance.

More Inventory Space = More Loot

As per any game with item limits, a large inventory space is always welcome for any character. Large inventories tend to make the game more comfortable overall. Players can focus on looting without reaching the dilemma of leaving out items for another. Alternatively, players can prepare healing items if they’re going to face a tough boss or fight ahead of them. Large Inventories pave the way for a easier playthrough as players can literally bring more stuff anywhere.

Update 1.05 Changes

The new update fixes some of the game’s character models which make them look at things with more focus. However, some of the game’s awful animations are still there like the supposedly fixed zigzag run glitch and inexpressive NPC interactions. Even though the update is flawed in its hotly criticized features, the Mass Effect Andromeda update 1.05 fixes a lot of other features like the bizarre sound source and an uninteractable objectives bug.

We may have to wait for the next major Mass Effect Andromeda update to see these issues fixed. The game has a lot of potential due to its story and setting, but its glitch and buggy gameplay hampers its full potential. Stay updated with more Mass Effect Andromeda news here on TheBitBag.
