Mass Effect Andromeda Presentation Tomorrow At CES 2017

On the official Mass Effect subreddit, one fan noticed that the ?Spring 2017? banner on Mass Effect Andromeda?s Origin store page was removed ? a sign he believes indicates that a concrete date is on the way.

?I pre ordered on Origin and the little banner at the bottom of the cover which said “Spring 2017” disappeared. So I think they might reveal the release date soon,? wrote user PalavenLost.

If you?re more of a glass half empty kinda guy like other commenters are, the removal of the banner could also mean that a delay might be imminent.

?I expect the game to be delayed. I don’t want to burst anyones bubbles but Bioware had a lot of technical issues with DAI and not all of them were due to last gen. With MEA being such an ambitious game I expect there would be difficulties,? says user ANGRYWOLVERINE2.

A Spring release window usually covers the months of March, April, and May, which is pretty near for AAA video game standards. Bioware could be taking a cautious approach, waiting until the latest possible moment to avoid disappointing fans. Last year saw several high-profile games like No Man?s Sky and Final Fantasy XV get pushed back despite having ?concrete dates.?

It would be a wise move for them to share the date when they are 100 percent sure they can deliver. What?s your prediction for Mass Effect Andromeda? Let us know in the comments below.
