Grant Ward a former agent of Shield was actually a spy and HYDRA member who is now hell bent on seeking revenge from S.H.I.E.L.D.?According to LatinPost synopsis of the Closure episode reads ?Grant Ward?s campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D team to their knees, and Director Phil Coulson proves he will do anything to settle the score.?
Coulson who is going to take a darker role in upcoming episodes according to IBTimes, is shown choking a agent for failing to take down Grant Ward in the promo trailer released by ABC. The trailers shows Coulson telling Bobbi Morse he needs to cross some lines that he isn’t supposed to as? Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Also Coulson challenges Ward to settle things once and for all if he wants to take him down.?The last episode in the series ?Many Heads, One Tale? had showed Grant Ward teaming up with Gideon Malick to take down the S.H.I.E.L.D.
