Manchester United will take on Bournemouth in its first game of Premier League. Manchester midfielder Paul Pogba will miss the first game at Dean Court .

Football Association (FA) has suspended Pogba for two yellow cards he received during the Coppa Italia. The second came in the final game against AC Milan. It was his last game for Juventus. MU signed him for ?89 million that is $115 million, most expensive player in the history of Premier League.

United?s manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed the suspension of Pogba. In a press conference Mourinho admitted that he was aware of the ban and was waiting for the decision of Association, ?reported SkySports.

“I knew the situation with the yellow cards. But I didn’t know at that time if an accumulation of yellows would bring a player to suspension, or that one in Italian football would be one for the corresponding competition in England which would be an FA Cup match. I found out two days ago,? said Mourinho.

It was speculated that the today?s match against Bournemouth will be Pogba?s debut game for Manchester United. Moreover, Manchester’s Chris Smalling has been banned by FA along with three other players. Pogba is now expected to play his first game for Manchester United against Southampton at Old Trafford next Friday.

Pogba’s absence in an opening match of Premier League is a big blow for Manchester United. Adding to the troubles of Manchester, defender Cameron Borthwick?-Jackson will not play today?s game due to injuries. Jesse Lingard is doubtful for the match and in his place newcomer Henrikh Mkhitaryan may come in. However, good news is that forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play the match and he is very excited to play for Manchester United. Wayne Rooney will lead the squad against Bournemouth.
