After their three straight losses last week, Manchester United will look forward to putting an end to their bad run this week with another set of fixtures coming up. United will have to give their best as they take on Northampton on Wednesday in the EFL Cup and then host Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Manchester United put in a poor all-round display Sunday at the Vicarage Road to go down 1-3 to Watford in the Premier League. Despite Jose Mourinho making changes to his underperforming side, United failed to deliver. Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marouanne Fellaini, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia had come in for Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Morgan Schneiderlin, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian.
Sunday?s loss was the third consecutive defeat for Mourinho?s side. A loss to Pep Guardiola?s Manchester City in Derby was followed by a Europa League defeat to Feyenoord. Still, expectations are extremely high at Old Trafford with the arrival of Mourinho and new recruits Eric Bailly, Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba.
