Making a Murderer Season 2

Making a Murderer was a runaway hit last year, and the controversial documentary was the hot topic in the social media universe. The world was left hanging as Season 1 left more questions than answers as to the case of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. Now, Netflix has announced that Making a Murderer Season 2 episodes will soon be coming to the online streaming service.

The controversial case of Steven Avery had the entire country on the edge. Many people were following closely how he continues to fight for his innocence and to clear his name. With the case still ongoing, Making a Murderer Season 1 ended without any solid answers.

That may soon change as Variety reports that Neftlix has already announced that Making a Murderer will be returning to the streaming network with brand new episodes. This second season of the show will give viewers an update as to what Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey have been doing to fight their convictions.

According to the same report, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos are still going to be the Executive Producers and Co-Directors for Making a Murderer Season 2. ?We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers? interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over.? the two creators of the hit documentary said. They further mentioned that they were ?fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold?.

Steven Avery

There have been a lot of changes since the end of Season 1. Avery already has a new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, and Dassey has a legal team composed of Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin. The lawyers for the two convicted felons will be showcased in the new episodes. A subject which will also be focused on in Making a Murderer Season 2 is the post-conviction process in the United States and the legal and emotional implications it has on the convicts and their families.

While Making a Murderer Season 2 has already been confirmed, there is no word yet on when exactly it will air. Likewise, the exact number of episodes that will comprise the season is still a mystery at this point. Still, just knowing that there will be more episodes of the hit documentary is more than enough to get any fan excited at this point.
