Just a few hours ago, the developer released the Mafia 3 E3 2016 teaser trailer which features multiple cinematics from the upcoming game. The visuals look stunning and features Clay driving a car and being chased by cops, ramming boats into a building, and destroying cars with massive gunfire. As noted in a previous report, the game will feature bars and jazz music. The trailer also features a glimpse of these as well.

Additionally, in the gameplay showcase, we expect to see protagonist Lincoln Clay take over New Orleans by eliminating several gangs of drug mafia. It would be interesting to see the combination of the narrative and cinematic storytelling play out.

The game is set in 1968 and features a reimagined New Orleans. Players will take the role of Lincoln Clay, ?a Vietnam war veteran. The city features nine districts and each of them has two distinct criminal ecologies. Mafia 3 will be released on October 7 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
