Madonna has finally landed in Melbourne, Australia! It has been more than two decades that the singer visited the country. The 57-year-old has something special for the Aussies during this tour.
The much talked about one-off show called Tears of a Clown is all set to be held at Melbourne?s intimate Forum theatre on Thursday night. The show is especially for Madonna’s Icon fan club winners.
According to au.news, she has also planned for a comedy act, storytelling and much more. Last week, Madonna said in a statement, ?I wanted to do something special for Australia because you have been so patient and waited so long ? the Tears of a Clown show will make its debut on March 10th. Performance art, comedy, storytelling and music of course! Especially for you, my Rebel Heart fans down under!?
Though there are no reports of filming any of her shows on this tour, it is heard from the sources that there might be a ?filming possibility? during her Sydney?s final two shows on March 19 and 20, according to news.com
Madonna arrived in Melbourne after her New Zealand tour. However, her New Zealand fans didn?t seem to be happy and took to social media to express their anger for the singer. She turned up around 90 minutes late for one of her shows (the Living for Love singer performed for the first time in New Zealand). She is known for her late arrivals and has risked ?costly curfews from venues.?
There have been mixed reactions from fans around the world for Madonna?s Rebel Heart tour that has earned over a whopping $100 million. The singer is all geared to rock at Rod Laver Arena on March 12 and 13 which will be followed by her performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 16 and 17. She has her shows lined up at Sydney?s Allphones Arena on March 19 and 20 that mark the end of the entire Rebel Heart world tour.
