A lot of people still have not made peace with Apple ditching the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Now, social media posts have been floating around about Apple sending out surveys about the MacBook Pro 2016.
When leaks about the disappearance started circling, netizens expressed their disappointments. Most of them saying that it is a bad decision on Apple?s part to get rid of the headphone jack.
Several reports from Twitter users reveal some survey question being sent out by Apple about the MacBook Pro. One question in particular is ?Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina display??
This may sound odd, but it seems that Apple is planning on adding a few more revamps on the rumored MacBook Pro 2016. There have been a lot of ongoing leaks about the purported specs of the upcoming laptop in the past couple of months. However, still fresh from the iPhone 7 headphone jack saga, this subject is a tiny bit shocking.
If rumors are true, this could mean that the MacBook Pro 2016 will have some sort of USB Type-C or Lightning port for the headphones. This only makes sense since the new iPhone 7 only has the lightning port for audio. In addition to this, it might also feature better wireless connectivity for headphones much like the current MacBooks.
Whether true or not, this is probably not a subject that warrant much attention at the moment. For one, if Apple was to release the MacBook Pro next month, it will not be making such a ?hasty? decision based on a survey that it has just released. Furthermore, if last month?s leak on the laptop shell is correct, the MacBook Pro will have a headphone jack come launch day. Albeit now SD card slot, USB Type-A, and MagSafe ports.
Rumor has it that Apple is gearing up to launch the new MacBook Pro 2016 early this October.
