The upcoming release of MacBook Pro 2016 is being anticipated by Apple fans worldwide who are already excited to see its new features, which reportedly include an OLED Touch Bar, Touch ID and Siri. ?
Rumors of the approaching launch were fueled because of reports that non-Retina MacBook Pro devices are being pulled out by the company from several stores. This could mean that the California-based tech giant is preparing for the official release of the MacBook Pro 2016.
A report from Yibada listed the features that Apple fans can look forward to once the new device is available in the market. First, it is expected to have a lighter and slimmer form factor and will come in 15- and 13-inch variations. The MacBook Pro 2016 will also boast of a beautiful OLED display touch bar and Touch ID.
Fans are also excited that the new Apple product will reportedly have Siri, a personal assistant initially exclusive only for iPhones. It will be the first time for a MacBook laptop to carry Siri. Integration of Siri into Mac is reportedly in its initial stages, but it is expected to still be capable of the same tasks that it can do in iOS devices – such as sending messages, giving out directions, making calendar entries, and searching for basic information online – all with a simple voice prompt.
Aside from these major features, other product improvements have also been made for the MacBook Pro 2016. The background noise coming from the fan while speaking through podcasts or shooting videos have been eliminated. It will also reportedly have a single USB Type-C port, an external battery that lasts much longer and more powerful speakers. Intel Skylake processor will also result to better performance and power.
The 2016 MacBook Pro?s many rumored features have made more and more Apple users excited for its official release. There were rumors last May that it would be launched this June in time for the Worldwide Developers Conference, so fans got somewhat disappointed when the announcement was not made during the recently concluded event.
More reports eventually stated that the release of MacBook Pro 2016 is scheduled for October, based on Apple?s last quarter window for product launchings.
