MacBook Pro 2016 Release Soon? Intel?s Shipment Of First Batch Kaby Lake Processors Fuel Launch Rumors

By on

MacBook Pro 2016?s release has been speculated by tech enthusiasts since the start of this year. Just recently, Intel?s recent shipment of the first batch of Kaby Lake processors to supply chains have fueled rumors that the launch could be happening very soon.

There have been rumors that MacBook Pro 2016 will have a Kaby Lake chipset. Since it was reported that the chipset won?t be available in the market until 2017, some claimed that this delayed the arrival of the laptop?s improved version.

However, new reports about the delivery of Kaby Lake to unspecified companies could mean the highly anticipated device will finally be unveiled.

Still, patrons are advised to wait for Apple?s official announcement on MacBook Pro 2016?s launch. Apple Insider also pointed out that the reported delivery of Kaby Lake processors might not be for the said laptop, but for the Cupertino-based company?s mobile devices.

The site also said that MacBook Pro 2016 will carry a more powerful chipset at a later time.

Aside from reports about MacBook Pro 2016?s release, the tech world has been abuzz over the laptop?s rumored features. A recent update revealed that the device will be thinner and lighter than MacBook Air.

The Apple laptop?s Air variant flaunts an incredibly slim 0.68-inch unibody design and weighs only 2.38 pounds. It is known for being the company?s thinnest and most lightweight MacBook, so rumors claiming that the MacBook Pro 2016 will even be thinner have really gotten techies excited to finally see the new product.

On top of the improvements on its weight and size, the Macbook Pro 2016 will also reportedly sport the best display and resolution seen in any Apple laptop ever.

On another hand, making the Pro variant lighter and thinner has made several critics doubt if its battery life will still be powerful. However, users might not need to worry about running out of power too quickly since the notebook?s Intel Skylake processor is expected to have this covered.

The MacBook Pro 2016 will also reportedly have an OLED touch bar with integrated fingerprint reader and 5K display. The device will also supposedly have USB Type-C and ThunderBolt 3 ports. The new MacBook will also reportedly run macOS Sierra.

TheBitBag will be on the lookout for updates on MacBook Pro 2016?s release.
