MacBook Pro 2016 Release

According to the latest report, the MacBook Pro 2016 release date is expected in October. This is when the Mac variants along with the iPads are believed to be introduced to the eagerly awaiting world. However, it is worth noting that past reports pointed to an early-2017 release.

As for rumored specifications, the next-generation MacBook Pro will reportedly come powered by the new and powerful Intel Kaby Lake chip. In fact, the delay in MacBook release has been attributed to the availability of this chipset.

At the same time, other reports suggest that Apple could make use of an A10 Fusion chipset. The Apple A10 chipset is the one seen in the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. On a related note, TheBitBag recently reported that some iPhone 7 users are experiencing whining sound from the innards of the device. If you would like to check out the details,?click here.

Past rumors suggested that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The rounded corners of this device will apparently be shallower and the device, as a whole, will have smaller footprint. The pressure-sensitive trackpad will reportedly be wider. The hinges, connecting the display and the keyboard, will go through a design change.

Furthermore, the next-generation MacBook Pro is believed to come with a touch-enabled secondary OLED strip display. This strip display will replace the traditional function keys.

The latest macOS Sierra will run this powerful notebook out of the box. Not to forget, this particular OS version supports the faster USB 3.1 Gen 2 port.

If the USB 3.1 Gen 1 housed in the current-generation MacBooks can deliver up to 5Gbps, the Gen 2 doubles the speed by offering up to 10Gbps.

In addition to the standard connectivity options, expect a Type-C USB port to be part of the notebook.

Apple CEO Tim Cook recently confirmed via a reply to a user query that Apple is very much committed to the MacBook Pro 2016. Cook further added that he loves the Mac and the company will soon make an announcement.
