Apple fans were expecting the announcement of MacBook during the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), but Apple did not release any word regarding this year?s Macbook Pro and MacBook Air. However, rumors suggest that Apple could kill its MacBook Air and focus solely on Macbook Pros in the future.

Tech enthusiasts believe that the lack of information about the MacBook Air could be the sign of the end of the laptop. On the other hand, MacBook Pro 2016 rumors are flooding the internet like nothing else.

The 12-inch MacBook is much better than current MacBook Air. According to tech analyst Jack March, the name ?Air? is no longer impressive as the competitors are offering more portable laptops. MacBook Air may be replaced by thinner MacBook Pros.

?It was a very niche and expensive product, only for people with the primary priority of portability. In 2016 ? where nearly all products from Apple and competitors are thin and light ? Apple?s distinction of ?Air? is redundant,? Jack wrote on his blog.

MacBook Pro 2016 is supposed to rollout with some head turning features, like OLED touch bar with integrated fingerprint reader and 5K display. It is also supposed to feature USB Type-C and ThunderBolt 3 ports.

The new Macbook is expected to be powered with Intel’s latest-generation Skylake processors. The latest processors will increase performance and battery life of the computer. As the company has recently announced a new operating system for its computers, the new MacBook will most probably rum macOS Sierra.

The company has not provided any information regarding the launch of either MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. So, for this time TheBitBag team would like to recommend to our readers to take this information with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcements by the company.
