When it comes to the competition of laptops, you can?t fault the Macbook Air for topping the list. But lately, it was Xiaomi who made sure their Mi Notebook Air will be the Macbook Air. In just 24-hours however, Lenovo came out with their all new Lenovo Air 3 Pro. Looking through their physical characteristics, all three were admirable sans their respective brands.
As the Lenovo Air 3 Pro made its debut, something significant about its appearance that outshined the already impressive Macbook Air. Though it?s hardly eye catching, their actual thickness differ with the Lenovo Air 13 Pro having the edge.
The 13-inch Macbook Air has approximately 1.7 cm in thickness while the Lenovo Air 13 Pro has a 1.48 cm thickness. Other than that, they almost differed in all the other aspects of its internal specifications. The Macbook Air is fully equipped with 13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 128GB PCIe-based flash storage, 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz) with 3MB shared L3 cache and an 8GB of 1600MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory.
The Macbook Air runs a 12-hour service on a wireless web and has a standby time of up to 30 days.
The Lenovo Air 13 Pro on the other hand has 13?3-inch IPS display powered by an Intel i5 6200U processor, with a 256GB of SSD storage but 4GB of RAM and a 2GB NVIDIA GT940MX graphics card. The Lenovo Air 13 Pro weighs 1.29kg. Compare to Macbook Air?s 1.35kg.
The Mi Notebook Air on the other hand has full specs of being the laptop that also contains gaming specs; the Macbook Air and Lenovo Air 13 pro didn?t have.
It?s a tough competition out there, but this coming September, the Apple company is about to reveal some of their newest lines of devices. The supposed iPhone 7 is expected to be unveiled and who knows, a new-gen of laptop line will also come out from the event?
