Joey Mead was raised in Southern Australia when her mother moved to Adelaide to live with Joey?s Australian stepfather.
During her younger years, she served as a VJ (video jockey) for music channel Channel [V] in Hong Kong from 1996 to 2000.
In 2007, the former host of Asia?s Next Top Model moved back to the Philippines. Some four years later, Joey Mead married Filipino-Chinese businessman Ian King in 2011.
For those of you who don?t know who he is, Ian King belongs to the family behind the Victoria Court chain of hotels. Ian also happens to be a car enthusiast, or someone who loves cars.
