Little Mix just released another single from their new album ahead of its November 6th release.
Little Mix tweeted a preview of the song ?Weird People? on Monday, an ?80?s inspired tune off their album entitled ?Get Weird.?
The British quartet made up of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson debuted their “whole new sound” back in May with the release of ?Black Magic?, which were followed by the hopeless romantic track ?Love Me Like You? and the fierce number ?Hair? that?s all about girl power.
“It’s literally completely different to anything we’ve done before,” the girls told BBC?s Newsbeat back in February about their third album.
?Weird People? has that anthemic vibe and basically tells you to be proud of who you are, weirdness and all.
The girls recently performed on the X Factor UK, the same stage where the group started out. The group performed ?Love Me Like You? looking fabulous dressed in sequined gowns and transitioned to the more upbeat ?Black Magic? and totally smashed it that they trended on Twitter.
“When we were younger, we had the Spice Girls and groups like that to look up to, that had this really empowering message and made you feel really good about yourself,” said Jade Thirlwall on an interview with Billboard. “And I think it’s kind of about time that it was brought around again.”
?When we first got together I think we realised that there wasn?t anyone that was representing girls in a positive way without being overly sexual. I think we?ve filled that gap now?, said Jade in another interview with HungerTV.
?We?re going through the same things as our fans, and music can really help you when you?re struggling,? said Leigh-Anne.
In case you missed it: there?s a ?Love Me Like You? Christmas Mix.
