The 2016 Rio Olympics wrapped up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Jordan Brand caps off the Summer Games with their final Olympic themed sneaker, the Jordan 11 Low Closing Ceremony that debuts today.
The highlight feature of this extremely rare Jordan 11 Low is shimmering metallic gold upper, representing the victory during the Rio competitions. The usual mesh upper on the Jordan 11 Low is replaced with premium white tumbled leather. The black accents seen on the inner lining and woven tongue label provide contrast to the shoe. The crisp white midsole unit and icy translucent outsole give finishing touch to this colorway.
The Air Jordan 11 Low ?Metallic Gold? will arrive on Saturday, August 27th for $170 via SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. However, the limited edition sneakers are likely to get out of stocks soon enough so sneakerheads should pick them as soon as possible.
The men?s size of sneakers will be exclusively available through SNKRS app while kids? size sneakers can be directly picked through Nike.com. There is also option to pick up the sneakers from other retailer as such Shoe Palace and DTLR.com.
In related news, Jordan Brand previously dropped Olympic themed Air Jordan 31 ?USA? and ?Rio? colorways in celebration of the spirit of the Games.
The Air Jordan XXXI ?USA?, based on the iconic Air Jordan 1, features a knitted Flyweave and leather upper in the patriotic colors of Red, White and Blue.
On the other hand, Jordan 31 ?Rio? also called ?Brazil? pays tribute to the host city and features together neon green and blue in the knit upper, gradually transitioning to solid blue through the leather heel.
