Finally, a new report sheds some light on the LG V20 release date, price and pre-order details. The V20 will be replacing the well-received LG V10 on September 6.
While LG has not confirmed the countries where this device will be made available, it is safe to assume that the U.S. will be one among them as the V10 had a successful run in the country. Three major carriers in the U.S. will be offering this device, and T-Mobile is one of them.
According to a?Reddit user, who apparently is a T-Mobile insider, the LG V20 pre-order window will go live on September 14. Following which, the device will hit the store shelves on September 23.
Speaking of price, T-Mobile’s LG V20 will reportedly set the buyers back by $650, without any contract. To top it off, the ones gearing up to pre-order this device will apparently get special bonuses. This includes an additional battery, along with an “enhanced hand grip” and a “memory module attachment.”
The freebies clearly say the LG V20 follows the same design philosophy as the 2016 flagship LG G5 because of the modular design. Plus, T-Mobile might add additional bonus of 1-year of free Hulu subscription, along with 3 Vudu rentals free of charge.
Also, the important point to be noted is that, upon release, the LG V20 will become the world’s first handset to run the latest OS Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the box. So, this time around, LG?s device will release first before the two Google Nexus 2016 smartphones.
Other rumored LG V20 specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 5.5-inch display and a Quad HD resolution. There is going to be a secondary ticker display, a fingerprint scanner and a dual rear-facing camera unit.
