Evleaks, a serial technology leaker, spilled in a tweet that the successor of the LG G flex is rumored to be released early next year. The LG G Flex 2 will likely come during the middle part of 2015?s first quarter and is said to come with a more unique feature.

Tech spies behind Evleaks revealed in a recent tweet that the new bendable handset from LG may come equipped with a feature more interesting than its already remarkable self-healing plastic and flexible body. The Korean tech company has not even released its latest LG G3 model, which is planned to be unveiled later this month, and this speculation has already come out proving the widespread curiosity in the world of flexible smartphones.

If the mid-first quarter of 2015 launch date proves to be correct, the LG G Flex 2 would probably be launched during the yearly Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 that will be held in Barcelona, Spain and set to be held between March 2 and March 5. MWC events are appealing to many mobile device makers as it is a viable platform where they can launch their flagship devices. This is manifested by Samsung?s release of its Galaxy S5 model during the MWC 2014.

Although Evleaks exposed that a new feature will be furnished into the G Flex 2, nothing has been confirmed by LG yet. What tech watchers can do is just ?intelligently? speculate based on recent trends. The current LG G Flex is endowed with a quad-core, 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 720 x 1280 display at 245 ppi. This display made a lot of smartphone observers a little dismayed since a lot of high-end models in the market already boast of higher resolution screens. A better smartphone screen is certainly an area where the upcoming LG G Flex 2 can work on.

A previous relevant leak circulated late last year disclosed that the LG Flex sequel will become even more bendable and can reach a 90-degree angle without breaking. This has not been verified but tech observers noted that this development is a very feasible trajectory for the LG G Flex 2.
