TT Games has announced Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens Exclusive DLC for PS3 and PS4 players. Players on these consoles will get exclusive content with Droid Character Pack when the game launches this month. Sony has also released a new video highlighting all the new characters coming in the game. The character pack will feature some of the most popular Droids from the Star Wars franchise. The game developer has also released a Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens demo for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

On the PlayStation Blog, game director Jamie Eden revealed that there will be an R5-D4 or Red droid that will join in the new game. The astromech droid, which was featured in the Star Wars film, is coming to the game as part of the free DLC pack. Another Droid in Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens is IG-88. This is a chrome bounty hunter which was featured in the Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. The droid carries a rifle with him.

Many more Droids are coming to the game including Battle Droids from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, Super Battle Droid, the Captain Battle Droid, and Captain Commando Droid. The battle droids would help players during combat.

Of course, one cannot skip lightsabers when it comes to the Star Wars franchise. Another Battle Droid Supreme Commander General Grievous is coming to the game with his lightsabers. The character will be available in the upcoming game.

The developer Traveller?s Tales has also introduced a less combat approach to the game by bringing the ME-8D9 and W1-LE droids. These Droids are slightly away from battles and use their own approach in dealing with conflicts. The ME-8D9 is featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, while W1-LE droid can be seen in the Star Wars: Rebels.

Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens introduces new systems, including Multi-Builds, which allow players to construct buildings that can be recreated in any way. The Blaster Battles are also a fresh system in the game that helps players get engaged in battles.

A demo for the game is now available to download. Those who?ll download the game will be able to play as their favorite Star Wars characters Finn, Rey and BB-8. The full game will be launched on June 28 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
